Survivors Stories DVD and Website - Web 2.0 Virtual and interactive Launch
Ustream TV is where the LIVE Launch is being filmed and streamed from. Below you can view the launch at Babergh District Council Chambers and take part in chats and discussions on the DVD clips. There is an opportunity to share in questions and any plenary feedback. Later in the afternoon there will be a online chat with members of the Babergh Domestic Violence and Abuse Forum. The Live Launch is also being filmed. If you have a web cam and want to share your sound too, we will be making a podcast to download from the site, let us know if you would like to be 'virtually recorded or filmed also'.
This type of web 2.0 virtual launch has never occurred in the UK, using social media networking sites like Facebook, Myspace, Ning, and across web 2.0 business sites like BTTradespace. Devised to support an opportunity for all that would like to attend and support Survivors Stories, virtually from all across the UK and internationally, and to share their views and messages of support for those survivors filmed in the DVD and ALL survivors of domestic violence and abuse.
As the website is launched please feel free to join us in the ' Survivors Stories Chat Room Lobby ' or chat without any guest log in, in one of the chat boxes provided below. Your comments will be shared with over those attending and a large number virtually on line, between 12pm and 12.45pm. We have invited a number of VIP's also in the music business and we may possibly be chatting alongside singers like, Jamelia, KT Tunstall, Maddonna and new up and coming bands in the UK and abroad.
EVERYONE has the opportunity to be anonymous within the chat space and we would ask that this is respected. A number of visitors will also be survivors themselves. Thank you for your support. Our Guest Book is there for your message of support to the survivors attending today.
warm wishes Tish : )
